Ben and Libby met via a mutual friend in 2017 and instantly became great friends. Things changed for the best in 2018 when they began dating. In February 2020, Ben moved to north Idaho for work. How much could things possibly change? March 2020 answered the question and rocked the world as we knew it. For nearly 15 cautious months, they maintained a long-distance relationship before they both moved to Moscow in July 2021. Via multiple strokes of luck, they were back in Boise in October 2021. The long summer in Moscow will always hold happy memories!

Over the course of their relationship, Ben and Libby have enjoyed countless hours traveling all across the west for vacations, sporting events, family, concerts, and even an impromptu road trip back from Colorado in 2023. They plan to expand their footprint with a trip to Austria and Italy in the winter of 2025/26.

Ben proposed at home on February 3, 2024. After recruiting their siblings and grandparents, they surprised their parents with an intimate family wedding on April 24, 2024 in McCall, Idaho after asking them to meet in McCall for an evening of “wedding planning.” Don’t hesitate to ask any of us for more details!
